Does Ultherapy affect Sculptra?

I have just had Ultherapy 2 weeks ago but have also had 3 injections of Sculptra , all 3 was completed from last year Dec. to this year Feb. , would Ultherapy damage my existing collagen on my face ?

No one can be certain that the Ultherapy energy wouldn't cause the Sculptra to become affected one way or the other and as Sculptra is one volumizer that has a chance of developing delayed immune reactions (granulomas) I would rather not perform Ultherapy directly over an area that had Sculptra, unless the Sculptra had been injected in a deeper plane than the Ultherapy ultrasound energy can reach.

Ultherapy will not interfere with Sculptra, instead doing them together will help improve your results. Ultherapy and Sculptra both help repair and produce collagen. I generally recommend Ultherapy and Sculptra to be done together to maximize collagen production.

No, it will not damage existing collagen, and it may actually improve it. There are no studies on what Ulthera does to Sculptra, although in my opinion it would help boost the existing and new collagen in a positive way.

Sculptra works by promoting collagen growth in the treated areas.  Ulthera also promotes collagen deposition by heating the deep tissues.  They are both working to help y our body produce more collagen, and the ulthera should not damage the new collagen from the scuptra.

Absolutely not! Ultheraphy will only stimulate more collagen to grow. You have had plenty of time since your Ulthera treatment to have Sculptra.

Ultherapy and Sculptra both promote collagen growth, and there should be no problem having both procedures performed simultaneously. Seeing as how you last received Sculptra four months ago, you're will be fine during any additional Ultherapy treatments.  Occasionally, I will actually perform the two simultaneously to try to increase the amount of collagen production.

There is a physician in San Diego who has written about combining the two and he calls it 'Sculptherapy' as they enhance each other. He has shown that since both stimulate collage, the combination is better than each individually added together. I tend to agree with this clinical observation.
