Endodontist states I have leaking Amalgam from Apicectomy 20+ year ago. Is he correct to state it will create problems? (Photo)
I visited Endodontist recently for routine route canal work on a separate tooth. During viewing X-rays he commented that my top front 4 crowned teeth 3 of which have Apicetomy the X-ray shows that amalgam is leaking from them. He stated that unless he removes and re-does Apicetomy i will suffer severe health problems. It is an expensive procedure. He is held in high regard by most in my area although not all. I would welcome other views pls.
