16 months post BBL. I have red lacy patterns on my stomach and back. Will this go away? What can I do to get it away? (photos)

Hi and welcome to our forum!This unusual condition is caused by a proliferation of dilated subdermal capillaries immediately beneath the surface which causes a reddish skin discoloration. It occurs as the result of trauma or heat to the area.It may respond well to laser treatment. Seek evaluation from a board certified plastic surgeon with laser experience.Best wishes...

this most likely represents an unusual condition called erythema Ab Inge. It must likely will respond well to laser treatments. In particular a Vbeam laser would be most effective. Alternatively an IPL treatment with the appropriate attachment could work as well. It appears there is some skin texture irregularities as well. I'm guessing your provider may have done liposuction in a way that may have been very close to the skin surface.  Consider getting a consultation from a dermatologist or plastic surgeon with extensive laser experience.  Best, Mats Hagstrom MD Da fat man
