Hairline lowering surgery, Minoxidil (as requested) or natural remedy?

sdaly1234
I am having hairline lowering surgery in the new year and I have been asked to start taking the male strength minioxidil 2 weeks before and for 6 weeks after. Having read the potential side effects I really do not want to start using this, I have naturally fine hair but is it a good idea or not to for go that and try a natural remedy instead? The cut is along the hairline and due to the nature my hair can go into shock and hair loss would then be experienced. Any advice would be very helpful.
