How many grafts do I need for my crown? (photo)

With second session you can achieve full coverage. You will need around 3000 grafts to cover the the crown area.

One can only reach an accurate estimate after a consultation with a hair restoration physician that will involve trichoscopic evaluation of both the donor and the recipient areas.A proper assessment would need to consider the remaining capacity of your donor area, the hair calibre, the surface of the crown and your expectations regarding the hair density.Nevertheless, it seems that 1600-1800 grafts could offer a cosmetically acceptable result.

It seems like 2000-2500 grafts will be enough to cover your crown area. I need to see also your donor area to make a specific estimation since you had already a hair transplant session with 3500 grafts before.

It depends on your donor area. But what I can see from the picture you need between 1500-2000 to cover all the area and get the density you are looking for

A crown area typically takes a lot of grafts to create coverage, usually 40 to 50 grafts per square cm.
Measure the area and multiply by 45. My guess is that you will need in the range of 2500- 3000 grafts.

Thanks for your question and photo. In general, 2000 grafts are generally needed for a CD-sized area. It is hard to evaluate fully from a photograph. Please consult with your surgeon.

I would perform a FUE operation for you with as much as possible number of the grafts to achieve a natural look for you without create a donor area depletion that may be around 1500-1800 grafts.
