Will this fresh scar flatten after cryo mole removal? (photos)

Question

I recently had cryo done to remove left over mole from previous cryo an the scab has fallen away and left a round scar that seems swollen raised which makes it very noticeable. Will this flatten or what can I do to help it? I'm very self conscious

I'm sorry that you have issues after cryotherapy for mole removal. From the photos there is clearly still healing skin following the procedure. If this is a second cryotherapy procedure on the same mole then the trauma from this procedure could result in longterm scarring. Scars can be improved with the combination of PRP ( Platelet Rich Plasma ) and micro needling over the area using a dermapen or dermaroller device. Other treatments include topical silicon based gels such as Kelocote available in the UK.
I prefer to use radiosurgery to remove moles and skin lesions as the risk of any scarring from treatment is minimal.
