Bump under skin after cheek filler. What could've caused it? (photo)

I had cheek filler 4 weeks ago. The right side of my cheek looks right but there is a bump (shape is like a plum) on the left side. So my face is asymmetrical. What is the cause of this bump? I had 1ml Belotero Balance under the eyes.

Looking at your photos, the moustache effect is from the volume on the upper lip, the biggest is your upper lip then the edge of it goes up and creates a shadow that shows like a moustache. Belotero is usually a great filler especially for the lips. Was it Belotero Balance or Belotero Intense that was injected? I would return to the doctor who injected your lips in a week if you are still unhappy have them take it out. I hope this helps. Good luck!

If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. It may take a series of treatments to dissolve Belotero. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
