I am considering Brazilian butt lift using own fat transplant. My current weight is 54kg and height 153cm BMI 23.1. Because I had weightloss surgery it's almost impossible for me to be able to gain weight no matter how hard I try (at least not for the coming 5 years). I am looking for a dramatic augmentation (pictures attached of expected end results) and was wondering if that's possible to achieve using my own fat transplant? I would rather avoid silicone implants
Answer: Brazilian Butt Lift/ Fat grafting/Liposuction/ High Definition Procedures/Butt Implants Thank you for your question. I specialize in Brazilian Butt Lifts and Body Contouring procedures. From your photos, you appear to be an excellent candidate for Vaser Hi definition liposculpture with fat grafting to the buttocks. You should get a great result from liposculpture, giving you a more contoured and hourglass shape with better projection to your buttocks. Vaser Hi Definition liposuction uses the concepts of negative and positive spaces in relation to the underlying bony and muscle anatomy to define areas such as your six pack and create an athletic looking physique. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery. Answer: Brazilian butt lift for a BMI of 23? I have found thinner patients to have great results with the liposuction and BBL, but this does depend upon the ability of the surgeon to extract as much fat as possible and transfer all of it.

Answer: Better think on Butt Implants Based at your pics I dont see a lot of fat to remove for a nice BBL. If you cant gain weight, your best option should be a combination of liposuction to waist and lower back and butt implant.Best RegardsDr Hernandez PizzoglioDominican Republic

Answer: BBL Thank you for your question and photographs. You could achieve a more contoured waist and a modest fat transfer to the buttocks with a BBL but with little fat on your body, you cannot expect to have a significant enhancement in the buttocks area. I would recommend that you schedule an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon so they can perform a physical examination of your body and see if you are a good candidate for BBL and if your cosmetic goals are achievable. I do not recommend patients gaining weight prior to surgery because weight fluctuations before or after the procedure can affect your results. Best of luck in your endeavors!Sincerely, James Fernau, MD, FACSBoard Certified ENTBoard Certified Plastic SurgeryMember of ASPS, ASAPS, ISAPS, The Rhinoplasty Society, AAFPRS, OTO/HNS, ASLMS, International Federation for Adipose Therapeutics & Science
