When can I return back to field work after hair transplant?

Clear it with your doctor. It should be as easy as a simple email or a phone call. You must have asked this question even before your surgery. Two weeks seems normal to resume your normal activities and job duties but your doctor may have his own opinion. Keep your doctor in the loop.

Your doctor is really the only one that can tell you it's okay. Generally with most patients it is but it depends on how quickly everything is healing for you, and only your doctor knows the specifics of your transplant to know if you can be cleared after two weeks.

With FUE, after two weeks or so, the recipient sites should be secure and the donor area should easily be healed assuming all of the crusts are off your head. Hard hats may rub the donor area, so make sure that the donor area is well healed. You and your doctor are best to make this decision if the timeline I suggested can be accelerated.
