Your nose shape can be modified to appear closer to what you would consider a "good nose" (less Greek and more Jewish in your instance). Particulars can be discussed during your consultation which should include image morphing. Grigoriy Mashkevich, MDNew York Facial Plastic Surgeon
Ethnicity is one component of what constitutes a "good" nose. A rhinoplasty result should look natural and fit yoru facial features as well as ethnicity. I find that computer imaging, especially Vectra 3-D is an excellent way to demonstrate potential results.
You appear to have thin skin and an overprotected tip that may be exacerbated by mildly weak chin projection. Consider consulting several rhinoplasty specialists so you could see what might be best for you.Hope this helps you.Dr. Joseph
Hi there,Although multiple views are needed, from the shot you have posted you appear to have a very attractive nose. Whether you agree with this is of course up to you - it's your nose after all. But, beware of changing an attractive nose which is slightly not to your taste for an operated nose which may be slightly more to your taste. I am sure your best path is to have some honest and realistic consultations with excellent rhinoplasty surgeons in your area, and preferably with computer imaging. Consider also NOT having a rhinoplasty. As Dr Corbin says, if you feel your nose is larger than you'd like the problem is probably actually your chin - it is small, and accentuates your mid face and nose. Chin augmentation might be the way to go. Again, this is a matter of your taste and not a surgeons opinion thrust upon you - but its worth considering the possibility and having some imaging which will show you how it would look. All the very best with your explorations.
I need to see better photos to see if you have too much bone in your radix. You may not need anything???
Rhinoplasty can change the shape of your nose, regardless of your ethnicity. It is very important to make sure you have specific goals in mind on how you want to change your nose. Virtual rhinoplasty software and our rhinoplasty photo gallery are located on the link below give you an idea of what can be accomplished with the procedure
If there are aspects of your nose that you wouldlike improved, the cosmetic appearance can be addressed with a subtle natural appearing rhinoplastyperformed by an expert artistic plastic surgeon with extensive rhinoplastyexperience. Keep in mind, that following theadvice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell youwhat to do based on limited 2 dimensional photos without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a fullmedical history, and discussing the pros and cons of the proposed operativeprocedure with you and your parents may not be in your best interest. I wouldsuggest you find a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of PlasticSurgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic PlasticSurgery (ASAPS) or facial plastic surgeon (otolaryngologist) that you trust andare comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon inperson. Robert Singer, MD FACS La Jolla, California
Are you sure you are not Greek with a Jewish nose? LOL. Your nose can be improved with a rhinoplasty. Best to seek only IN PERSON opinions...
I think that if you are concerned about your nasal appearance, then you should go for a consultation to discuss what exactly bothers you and what your goals for surgery would be.
Thanks for sharing, your concerns, based on the single profile picture, which is not a complete story, you have a very attractive nose and if it is anything like a "Greek Sculpture" with classical proportions you are very fortunate. Having said that, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, there may be some relatively minor finesse adjustments that may be worth considering, but make sure you find a surgeon who has the skills and sensitivity to listen and process your concerns. All the best.

Hello! So an Alar Base Reduction reduces the width of nose, which you said you want to achieve, so there's no reason why you wouldn't be a good candidate for this as it is one of your aims. As you mentioned your problem is with the tip and nostrils, so an Alar Base Reduction can help to reduce...
