Hello Doctors, I am thinking of a breast lift (no implants), and am wondering how you would fix this area in my photo of underarm bulge. It is really the thing I dislike the most of my upper body. I have plenty of breast tissue, so no implants. Can any of you kind Doctors tell how you would handle this area? Any info is greatly appreciated!
Answer: Liposuction Thank you for your questions and picture. From your picture and with limited information I think that you might do well to improve this area with liposuction at the same time as your breast lift.

Answer: Breast lift without vertical scar Hi,The Horndeski Method/The Bellesoma Method has developed a weight transfer technique that takes the weight off the skin (and surrounding tissues) placing it on the chest muscles without removing much breast tissue to relieve pain. Women no longer have to sacrifice loosing cup sizes to enjoy full/perky breasts. Upper pole fullness is achieved by re-positioning and reshaping a patient's own tissue to improve cleavage and fullness. The side tissue can be liposucted at the time of the breast lift. I have attached a short video of an example of this technique. No implants are ever used and the vertical scar has been completely eliminated. I hope this helps you make a more informed decision. Best wishes and kind regards,Dr. Gary Horndeski

Answer: Excess Tissue On Side of Chest That tissue is common, and could be treated as part of the breast lift by bringing the scar over to that area. It could also be fixed as part of an upper body lift which fixes the breast side roll, along with a bra roll. Or simple lipo could be done. Several options depending on your anatomy and preference.

Answer: Axillary / armpit fatty tissue with mastopexy Hello and thank you for your excellent question. Many patients have similar questions to your when undergoing a breast lift or reduction -- What happens with the tissue in your armpit or axilla? In general, we treat this area with either direct excision, or liposuction. It is part of the breast lift / reduction procedure. How extensive that work is, depends on how much tissue you have, what your surgical goals are, etc. In general, you will need an in-person consultation to determine your suitability for surgery. Any surgical decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation in person with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
