I'm around a 36H/I, is a reduction down to a 36B possible? I really don't want to end up in a full D cup or a DD cup. (photo)

Thank you for your question and photo,I strongly recommend you consider a larger cup size as going too small may jeopardize vascularity and wound healing. Women no longer need to undergo massive breast reduction in order to experience pain relief. I think it would be possible to get down to a C cup after surgery but I would be concerned about trying to achieve a B cup. I would be concerned the smaller size would not be proportional to your body and you will not like the results.

First I want to congratulate you for making this important decision. Deciding to get an aesthetic procedure to change your body and get a new life style is a big step!

Looking at your photos I might say that you´ll be a great candidate to get a breast lift without implants because you have enough tissue to reshape and lift it. Before all this, of course, you need to get a complete medical evaluation and laboratory exams to check everything is fine. For us your safety, always, is going to be first.

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. It is certainly possible to reduce your breasts to a B cup size. However, I suggest that you go with something larger, just to suit your body frame. However, you are in charge of your surgery; if you want to be smaller, you can be smaller. This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon.    Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation in person with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
