You have many options to use after your microneedling treatment. We use ZO Medical Revitatrol. Revitatrol. Revitatrol delivers essential hydration and calming for post-procedure, compromised and severely dry or irritated skin. Rich hydrators replenish lipids and restore skin’s barrier while reducing the appearance of redness.
You can use Cetaphil or any other mild cleanser. Avoid all Retinols, Vitamin C, and Acids. I always recommend using PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) with your microneedling treatment. PRP will aid in quicker healing and improve overall results.

I think that there are many opinions as to what is best to use post microneedling/Skin Pen. In our practice you use NO cleanser for min of 12hrs but prefer 24 hrs. We dispense Alastin Skin Nectar to use post procedure 2-3 times a day. We add a mineral based sunscreen after 24hrs and patients can use a gentle moisturizer like CeraVe if needed. We have our patients resume their normal skincare regiment after 5 days.
