Lip Lift and musculature - advice? (photos)

A lip lift is done by excising skin only and the muscle are not lifted. Also, in a facelift the muscle are not lifted but the skin and support layer is lifted. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.

A front face photo would have been additionally helpful. However, from the profile view, there appears to be flattening of the philtrum and pronounced volume deficit in the upper lip. If this is so, a filler fo restore the lip volume of the upper lip ( to restore proper proportionality between the upper and lower lips) along with a filler to accentuate the vermilion and to restore the columns of the philtrum would likely go far to addressing the problem. If additonally necessary, a couple of microdroplets of Botox in the upper lip region would further enhance the lip lift and thus further diminish the apparent length of the philtrum. All of the foregoing can be performed in about twenty minutes in experienced hands. You would be wise to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologtist. Best of luck.
