Can Laser Genesis treatment cause DNA Damage or cancer?

Lasers and light are forms of radiation, and all radiation is broadly classified into two main types: ionising radiation and non-ionising radiation. Ionising radiation, such as x-rays, contains a great deal of energy, which when directed at biological tissue is able to knock electrons out of their orbits around atoms or molecules. This free electron, or “free radical”, is then able to damage DNA and potentially cause dangerous mutations which cause cancers. Laser Genesis is a form of much lower energy non-ionising radiation: it has enough energy to heat the tissue, but does not have enough energy to create “free radicals”. As far as we know, Laser Genesis does not damage DNA and does not increase the risk of skin cancer.
