Is huge facial swelling post hair transplant & buccal fat removal a concern?

Question

It's my 1st day post buccal fat removal and 2nd post hair transplant. My whole head feels like it weighs too much for my body and my face has completely ballooned and my ears are poking out like antenni.. I look like Stewie from Family Guy! I'm not in much pain, just slighly uncomfortable when trying to sleep as the diner area on the back of my head is still quite raw. I've know there's supposed to be minor swelling after each procedure but didn't expect it to be this bad.

Some swelling is expected after a buccal fat removal. However, it is not possible to tell if it's normal or not without an examination. You should address this issue with your surgeon. This is difficult to tell without photos. Swelling can be typical after your procedures. I recommend following up with your surgeon for a formal evaluation and after care recommendations. Icing, cold compresses and ibuprofen may give improvement. Hope this helps.
