The cost of buccal fat removal depends on multiple factors. The cost usually includes the surgeon's fee, the operating room fee and the anesthesia fee. Another factor is the location of the surgery. 
Undergoing buccal fat removal under general anesthesia is more costly than under local anesthesia since the anesthesiologist service fee has to be added to the bill. Location is also an important factor. For example in my practice the cost of buccal fat removal is higher in New York City than in my New Jersey office for obvious reasons ( the more expensive the cost of living of a city, the higher the price of any plastic surgery procedure). Regarding buccal fat pad removal, I'm happy to answer your question, the procedure is done under local anesthesia (one shot from each side), in an office setting. Usually it takes less than 20 min and you can go home the same day. You'll be able to go back to work on the 3rd day post-op but 1 week off would be more comfortable. Our price is $500 USD, which also includes medications (pain killers and antibiotics). For both procedures buccals and chin lipo the price is $990 USD it also includes the medication plus the neck/chin garment you'd have to wear for at least 2 weeks 24/7. Chin lipo is also an office setting procedure and just like buccals you can leave the same day. Best regards!
