Although you don’t appear to have much excess fat, a tummy tuck may still help you with your excess skin. This would also help repair abdominal muscle separation.
Based on the loose skin above the umbilicus I would recommend a full tummy tuck. This would also allow the muscles to be tightened if needed. Consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended. Best wishes!
You will get a great result from a tummy tuck. Nothing else will be effective at removing the loose skin on your abdomen.
Kids are great, but they tend to do some damage... especially when you are carrying two of them at once! You look like a great tummy tuck candidate. You have loose skin to remove, a likely umbilical hernia, and probable significant rectus abdominis muscle diastasis. Meet with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your exam and goals. Best of luck!
Based on your pictures it looks like you can benefit from Body Tite to the area to tighten the abdomen, an in person consultation would be best for a detailed exam and evaluation.always see a board certified PS.
Hello and thank you for posting photos along with your question! In your case, it is a little difficult to tell from photos alone and an in person consultation would really help. This is so the redundancy and looseness of your skin can be assessed to determine if the incision can be kept low and still be able to bring everything together. You also appear to have a belly button hernia which can be fixed at the same time. Please make sure you are being evaluated by a board certified plastic surgeon!
Hello and thank you for yourquestion. Based on your photograph, you are a good candidate for a full tummy tuckwith liposuction. This can be donethrough a low and short incision, all completely below the bikini line. The belly button can be designed to looknatural and have no scars on the exterior. Your muscles can also be plicated resulting in a flat abdomen. Make sure you specifically lookat before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgeryperformed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most importantaspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seekconsultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluateyou in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. It’s hard to tell exactly how much skin you have in the photo, but I think you’re more likely in the mini abdominoplasty group.
While you may be very small the close skin can be removed with a more limited mini-tummy tuck approach. Smaller problems simply mean the scope of the tummy tuck surgery needs to be less than the traditional fuller tummy tuck. The key is your tummy tuck is that the scar needs to be placed low and you would probably not need an umbilical transposition.
You will do fine with tummy tuck. You have enough skin to have a very good outcome from surgery done right.
