Tummy tuck scar peeling/scab (Photo)

Question

My PS is out of state & I cant reach them, my TT scar is 2wks old & is starting to peel/scab, is this normal? Is there anythingI should be putting on it to keep hydrated/moisturised? Thank you

Thanks for the question and photos.  It's a little tough to tell in the photos,  the second one out of focus,  BUT, overall things look pretty good.   Hydrating is always a good thing,  I would start gently massaging with aquaphor twice daily.   It's too early for scar creams like biocorneum and vitamin E, it's best to wait 4 weeks to start these.  Dry,  peeling skin is totally normal,  so is a little scabbing, but I really can't see any in the photos.  Best and looking good!

The photos really aren't much help. If you can't communicate with your surgeon you can seek an opinion from a local plastic surgeon. Expect to pay for this evaluation.
