What happens if you drink through a straw after getting Lip Fillers?

there is no restriction on anything with your lips for lip fillers. not sure what you have been told but you can use a straw. start hydration with emeragecosmetics lip essentials. Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for sharing your question. The concern would be that the pressure placed across the lips when using a straw could shift any recently placed filler. Although risks are small, it is merely a recommendation.

Drinking through a straw occasionally will be fine after a lip filler treatment. Your injector may be referring to a possibility of the product moving from the pressure of pursing the lips, though the risk of this would be low. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your injector.

I suggest you ask your provider why he or a she pass this restriction.

It’s not some thing I’ve heard before but perhaps they have their reason.
