I've been filling my upper lip only for a Few years. I feel that my philtrum looks fat and puffy. Can Hyaluronidase be injected directly into the philtrum ?

Answer: Hyaluronidase and Full Philtrum Thanks for your picture. Hyaluronidase is only effective if filler is still present. The more recent the filler was placed the more effective Hyaluronidase will be. Best wishes. Earl Stephenson, Jr, MD, DDS

Answer: Hyaluronidase Works Well For Dissolving Unwanted HA Filler The short answer to your question is a definite YES, so long as a hyaluronic acid-based filler was used.. Both the philtrum and the white roll area appear somewhat overinflated and hyaluronidase can take care of that. Once this is done, then the lips and phltrum can be properly treated with an appropriate filler, such as Belotero Balance. Make sure that you consult a board certified cosmetic dermatologist or other core aesthetic physician with experience and expertise in lip injections. Best of luck.

Answer: Lip fillers Dear drinabambina, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
