You also appear to have an overly prominent white roll. If this is hyaluronic acid filler, then yes, hyalruonidase will remove this. However, it is unlikely that this can be done without also affecting your actual lip filler. That can be touched in with new filler if that happens, which is highly likely. Also, old filler does not just disappear. It stays locally for years and years and contributes to generalized volume, which is not helpful. For that reason, I advise my patients that every few years it is necessary to remove all of the old filler and start over again. There is no substitute for a detailed in person assessment. Avoid runny fillers (smooth fillers) which do not hold were they are placed. I really only like Restylane for this application.
You should be seen in person to assess what is going on here, but the short answer to your question is yes, hyaluronidase can be injected into the philtrum. It does look like you have a little bit of a "shelf" from filler migration or inappropriate placement.
yes hyaluronidase can be used to improve the look or your lip. start the lip essentials kit now too. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thanks for your picture. Hyaluronidase is only effective if filler is still present. The more recent the filler was placed the more effective Hyaluronidase will be. Best wishes. Earl Stephenson, Jr, MD, DDS
The short answer to your question is a definite YES, so long as a hyaluronic acid-based filler was used.. Both the philtrum and the white roll area appear somewhat overinflated and hyaluronidase can take care of that. Once this is done, then the lips and phltrum can be properly treated with an appropriate filler, such as Belotero Balance. Make sure that you consult a board certified cosmetic dermatologist or other core aesthetic physician with experience and expertise in lip injections. Best of luck.
Dear drinabambina,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Yes. Hyaluronidase can be injected directly into the philtrum to minimize the puffy appearance. You will see results within the first 24 hours.
Hello and thank you for your question! It is hard to tell from your picture if any filler has travelled, but if it potentially has then yes! Hyalurondaise can be injected into the columns and around it to reduce the puffiness above the lip. After two weeks post injection, more filler may be placed to achieve the results that you are looking for. I suggest following up with your provider so they may better evaluate you in person. Hope this helps!
Yes! You should definitely dissolve the Lio filler in that area. When it has been completely removed, you can have your top lip injected in a different technique so that it may not migrate. Please consult an expert in lip fillers for the best cosmetic result. Best, Dr. Green
Hello and thank you for your question. It is always best to see you face to face for a consult and examination however in this case it does look like there is some migration. If you dissolve this it will dissolve your whole top lip and sometimes starting over again may be the best option. I hope that helps answer your question. Always seek an experienced and qualified medical professional for these treatments. Very best wishes
Hello and thank you for your question. It is always best to see you face to face for a consult and examination however in this case yes a small amount of filler in the vermilion border here will certainly help add strength to your lip lines. I hope that helps answer your question. Always seek an...
If you are taking replacement therapy for your thyroid and your levels are normal, there should be no impact on the longevity of your fillers. Typically the fillers last 9-12 months for patients. It's wonderful that you are getting to enjoy the benefits longer!
Hi - If this has been present for weeks to months it is not a broken blood vessel. Depending on the brand of HA lip filler injected, it could be an inflamed granuloma forming as the body reacts to the presence of the foreign product. I recommend dissolving that area and trying a different brand....
