I had my 2nd botox injection in my neck and shoulders. The amount was increased that time because I had no side effects first time and pain relief was only a month. After 2nd time I had side effects throat and back scull pain that went away after week. After about 2 weeks I started bad abdominal pain. Which I still have after 2 months. Blood tests at er several times show higher white cells and a ct scan says coliteus and I'm still in pain waiting to see gi DR. Taking some pain meds.

Botox will prevent you from having these deep wrinkles get deeper and I have many young patients who get Botox in my office to prevent again. Please consult an expert. Best, Dr. Green
It is possible that a nerve was irritate when the Botox was injected or you coincidentally have an ear infection. I would consult an ENT specialist for evaluation. Best, Dr. Green
I would have the flu evaluated by your internists. There have been cases of flu-like symptoms reported with Botox injections but these are typically with patients who have large doses injected for non-cosmetic reasons. Best, Dr. Green
