I have had a bony bump on my nose ever since I was young. It has always hurt, and recently I started researching and realized it might be because of a deviated septum. Is it possible for a deviated septum to cause a raised bump on my nose, and will a procedure to fix the deviated septum fix the bump on my nose? I hate the way it looks and it's really uncomfortable.

I think it all depends on your pain medication usage as opposed to the splints. Splits should not stop you from going back to work This is more of a question to be asked directly of your surgeon.
Turbinates can be excised - which can possibly lead to empty nose syndrome However, if they are reduced by being lateralized or fractured it is extremely unlikely. That works well. It's worth seeing a facial plastic surgeon for an opinion.
