21 years old with PCOS. Curious if I truly have tuberous breasts. If I do, what is the best option for augmentation surgery?
Answer: #RealselfQ: Do I have tubular breasts? The quality of the photos are not that great, but I do not think you have tuberous breasts. However, I see that you have some degree of ptosis, so my recommendation would be to have a combination surgery of mastopexy and breast augmentation.

Answer: Do I have tubular breasts? If I do, what is the best option for augmentation surgery? Hello, thank you for your question. It seems like you can benefit from breast lift with implants, breast augmentation and a breast lift work hand and hand to enhance the overall shape and size of a woman’s breasts. These procedures are ideal for increasing the size of the breasts while restoring balance and youthfulness to a woman’s bust. The augmentation lift can help eliminate the sagging skin and excess fat causing your breasts to develop a droopy look. It will give your breasts an uplifted appearance and a more desirable sloping shape. Schedule an email, Skype or in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for proper evaluation.

Answer: Augmentation for Tuberous breasts Hello, and thank you for your question. To me this appears to be a minor form of tuberous breast. A breast augmentation with periareolar modification can help. The best advice I would suggest is to visit a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person consultation for a more accurate diagnosis.

Answer: Donut Mastopexy / Augmentation Good afternoon,You don't truly have tuberous breasts, but you do share some of the characteristics- I would perform a submuscular augmentation, saline or silicone depending on your preference, and a donut mastopexy!

Answer: Do I have tubular breasts? If I do, what is the best option for augmentation surgery? Thank you for your pictures and questions. In short, the answer is yes, you do have some features of tuberous breast. In cases like yours, I think that the best treatment addresses all the features of that diagnosis. This would include placement of an implant (I prefer anatomical teardrop implants in these cases, others may disagree but they tend to shape the breast better), scoring of the bands to obliterate the old IMF, and a periareolar mastopexy to correct the tissue herniation. Expect this type of approach to cost more than a standard augmentation, because it is more. If a surgeon tells you that you can achieve a perfect result with an implant alone....beware.Hope this helps!Dallas R. Buchanan, MD, FACSOwner & Board-Certified Plastic SurgeonVIVIFY plastic surgery
