Skin tightening around belly button. What is the best procedure? (Photo)

Question

What is the best procedure (with the least amount of downtime) to tighten my skin to open up my belly button? Are there other worthy options besides a full tummy tuck? I’ve already done sculpsure twice on the area. I am 41, 5’4 and weigh 132 lbs...had my second child 4 year ago. I exercise 5x per week and am pretty strict with my diet. I was much heavier 20 year ago (50 lbs heavier). Thank you!

I am currently using two new technologies for skin tightening that are very promising for tightening the skin of the tummy, avoiding a scar altogether.  Renuvion powered by J-Plasma and Bodytite radio frequency are minimally invasive techniques combined with liposuction that are producing significant tightening.  I would recommend a consultation with a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic surgery and has extensive experience in body contouring.

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

Non surgical options give only mild improvement compared to surgical lifting. Skin tightening can be done with a combination of Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis, Celllutone/Zwave. However for best results, a tummy tuck procedure can be combined with a high definition procedure at the same time. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like a VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. ThermiTight can tighten up the skin of the abdomen. It also can be calibrated to reduce fat of the abdomen. It seems to me to be the best option for you if you don’t want to have a tummy tuck and liposuction. Dr. Clark
