Someone said that the first time you get lip fillers (specifically juvederm) is significantly more swelling, is this true? Also which lip filler provides the least amount of swelling with the longest results?

Answer: Swelling after lip fillers It is not true that swelling decreases with second treatments unless less product and/or fewer needle pokes or cannula passes are needed. Swelling is mostly dependent on how much filler is used and the patient’s innate tendency to swell. Gentle injection technique can help but some people are swellers and even the best technique can result is significant swelling.

Answer: Lip augmentation question A person can swell just as much or more the 2nd or the third time around when it comes to lip augmentation. Lip augmentation swelling is related to the technique the surgeon uses as well as the patients body's response. My patients usually have no swelling or extremely small amount of swelling for about a day regardless of their first or second time around. Good luck from New York City
