Liposuction isn’t actually a weight loss method, but rather should be thought of as a tool that people can turn to when a healthy diet and exercise haven't eliminated isolated problem spots, like a muffin top or a double chin. I recommend that you achieve your weight loss goal first before considering lipo. You're more likely to see the best results from body contouring once you're able to maintain that stable weight for 12 to 18 months before scheduling your surgery. Best of luck!

Tumescent liposuction will permit removal of a substantial amount of fat in obese patients. Here in WA state, we are legally limited to removal of a maximum of 5 L of fat per surgery session. This is only about 11 lbs of fat. You could certainly lose far more weight than could be removed with liposuction, by using diet and life style changes.

information as well.. You have to be under 200 pounds to perform any surgical procedure. This is the surgical
procedure that revolutionized cosmetic surgery becoming one of the most

can be performed in almost all regions of the body such as the neck, chin,

liposuction your body is going to be really swollen for at least 2 to 4 months

for at least 6 months, the first 3 months 24/7 and then the last 3 months at
least 12 hours per day for your body get use to not having the faja for so many
time. When you remove it, your body can get swollen and also you can have pain.
Remember to also compress your body to prevent a seroma which is an

Although there is no absolute maximum, at your present weight you would not be a good candidate for the procedure.  The significant risks simply outweigh any potential benefit.  With controlled weight loss you would be healthier overall, and decrease your risk of many health issues later in life. Liposuction is designed to target localized areas of excess fat for contouring.  It is unfortunately a very poor procedure for overall weight loss.

If you can get your weight as low as possible the risks of healing will go down significantly. You would need to be down to a healthy weight and BMI before having a cosmetic procedure to insure a safe outcome.
