I am a 24 year old female with blue temple veins that I have had since birth. I went to a clinic for treatment but they said they couldn't help me, although I have heard that the Nd: Yag laser is good for this. I'm worried that my particular veins are not treatable. From my picture, do you think they can be treated?

JFRyan,Thanks for your question and sorry to hear about your side effect from the laser. Do not worry this will resolve. Please see your treating physician, as topical or injectable steroids may help this resolve quickly. Try gentle massage also in the meantime. Good Luck.

What you have is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and honestly, it can take years to go away. You should absolutely NOT be blistered from a procedure like this. I would suggest you maybe not return where you did the procedure, since the treatment and now follow-up advice is absolutely wrong....
