I am a 39 year old white male with red hair and fair skin. I have many tiny red veins v that you can see on close inspection all over my nose. These make it look like I have a red nose all the time, though sometimes it's not as enflamed. I had thermocoagulation done which yielded no results. I am wondering if a Yag treatment will be effective at getting rid of them or if vbeam would be more suitable. A derm told me 1 vbeam would likely do it but I am seeking a 2nd opinion.
I have a visible orbital vein under one eye which one doctor said an be easily removed by laser because it was NOT attached to he bone and the other said he wouldn't touch because it's attached to the bone and can lead to blindness. Is there a safe way to remove these or is it dependant on if it's attached to bone? What are the questions I should be asking to understand what is correct given this conflicting information?
Which one is better for South Asian skin (skin type IV-V)? I have thread veins around my eyes and nose which I want to get rid of but I've seen mixed reviews on both these procedures. I saw that Pulse Dyed Laser can cause these circular bruises and some people heal within 2 weeks while others can almost take a month! While ND:YAG can also leave bruises. Which one would you recommend for brown Asian skin? Thank you to the doctors who'll answer this.
I am wondering how safe it is to have fillers injected in my under eye area a week after yag laser for the treatment of periorbital veins. I have had both procedures before with no issues or side effects but not this close to each other. Thank you very much in advance!
Hello! I have a vein on my forehead / cheek area. I had a consultation and it looks like YAG laser would best to treat this. I also have cheek filler / Botox in this area and wanted to make sure the laser wouldnt affect my fillers (specifically Botox and voluma). Thank you.
Hi, if just had yag lazer treatment at my hospital for rosecea veins and redness around my nose they did a test patch on nose and chin i have purple bruising, they have made me another appointment in 8 weeks time should appointment be that far away?
On October 5th I got two small red marks on my face (that my derm identified as veins) lasered off. I am currently one day post op, and the red marks look exactly the same as before... Is this normal? The doctor told me that he thinks only one treatment would be enough for me since my veins were quite small. I heard him say that the red marks were gone, and that the redness remaining was due to the laser, but Im still uncertain.
Hi. I did Nd:YAG laser in May 2021 and it did not go as planned at all. I wanted to remove 2 big blue veins I had under my eyes. The doctor used 1064 nm wavelength under my eyes for the veins, she shot multiple times. After the procedure I had bruises under both eyes where she shot, for a week or two. Now to my complications. It has ruined my life and im only 25... I have a hard time smiling, it feels like i dont have the same structure and muscles under my eyes (face general) anymore.
