Breast implants 37 years ago - removed on 11/1/2013 still fatigued and depressed after 3 years.

Thank you for your questions. This is very difficult to answer and without knowledge of your medical and surgical history, no one can really offer conclusive answers. However, if the implants were removed but some of the silicone granulomas remain, then these can be hard to address. If you still feel like these are causing problems, then you may have to consider something as drastic as a mastectomy and total breast reconstruction to remove the remaining breast tissue and scar and replace it. The problem is that there is no way to associate the fatigue and depression with the silicone, so insurance would likely not approve this type of procedure for this indication. Consult with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon for a evaluation.  Without knowledge of your medical history it is impossible to diagnose you online.  You may be a candidate for a mastectomy, as the symptoms you describe are extremely unusual.
