I had an implant and bone graft done at the same time 2 weeks ago. I have been wearing a flipper previously to keep the space open. I am a bit paranoid that my teeth around the space have been moving. My surgeon made the tooth on the flipper a bit smaller. It doesnt hurt when it is in but I don't know if I should wear it for long periods of time. Will it damage the implant healing process? I notice when after immediately after taking the flipper out it hurts to swallow the first couple times.

Mostly likely it is a post-op infection you have acquired. A very thin chance of allergy to graft material which was suppressed due to medication post surgery and might have flared up once the course was over. Please see your dentist at the earliest.
There are 2 types of bone (cortical or cancellous) and can be in different particle sizes (.25 mm, .5 mm, 1.0 mm). We hope most particles stay put and become part of the body, but sometimes some of them escape. It usually is no big deal and nothing to worry about. See your dentist to be sure.
