Had invisalign. Problems never corrected. I want to get invisalgin again so that the front teeth and left incisor can be shifted to the left, which would create room and bond the smaller incisor bigger. I met with an orthodontist. He suggested bonding the incisors and front tooth and its cost effective. He said shifting the teeth to the left side (which would create bigger gap around the small incisor) and bonding the small incisor will not work because theres a limitation to bonding a tooth.
Answer: Should I get my teeth bonded or get Invisalig(if possible)? Bonding probably can give you the result that you want at an affordable cost. I have seen great results with a new procedure called EasySmile Veneers. It is similar to bonding, your teeth do not have to be filed down as with traditional veneers, it is done in one visit, is very natural looking, and very strong. You can do a google search for more information on this procedure. Good Luck!!!!Dr. Gary Braunstein

Answer: Bonding vs. Invsialign You have unnatural shaped teeth and gaps. Perhaps this was done during your invisalign treatment just so that they can fit all your teeth in there. With just invisalign or any clear aligners treatment, the only way to make space is to shave them on the sides or take out teeth. Your gum is uneven on your front teeth as well. A great smile is more than just straight teeth. Bonding is one option since it is very conservative, and requires little or no removal of tooth structure. Conventional orthodontics is another option to create space so that you can put the loss tooth structure back on through bonding. Bonding can look beautiful when it's done well. Look at bonding before/after photos and see if you like them from your future dentist. I would start by seeing an accredited cosmetic dentist in your area (AACD) who understands smile design to get started.

Answer: Invisalign vs Bonding If your orthodontist says that your smile is hard to correct through Invisalign, I would trust his opinion. Invisalign has it's limitations despite what the advertisements and media say and I have several patients who have been dissatisfied with their final results! I have corrected hundreds of smiles like yours but I prefer not to use bonding unless you want a short term fix. Please consider the option of placing porcelain veneers on all four front teeth which will allow the doctor to "borrow" space from the other front teeth and give you four front teeth that appear symmetrical with central incisors the same width and contour and lateral incisors the same width and contours. Porcelain veneers are durable, rarely need repairs or patching over time, and remain color stable!

Answer: Bonding Bonding would be a great option to close the spaces and lengthen the left lateral incisor, very conservative and cost effective.
