When i was around 10-11 yrs old I fell & chipped my front central incisor (bottom part) , over the years i had bondings done. The top portion of my tooth which is my real tooth is becoming yellow and darker compared to my other teeth and now is darker than the bonding I have on it now.i had a pulp test and I felt it , so the pulp is not dead, the tooth is sensitive sometimes. Should I be getting a root canal ? If the pulp is still alive what is causing the discoloration ? How can I fix this?

Answer: My front tooth is discolored, what are my options?
Unfortunately the answer is no.if you use a glue you can risk damaging the nerve and lead to bigger problems .i think you need to get to a dentist for repair
I would think that the average dentist would remove the cosmetic bonding that they placed at no charge. I would encorage you first to discuss what disappointed you in the treatment in the event that minor adjustments could be performed to address your disappointment without having to have...
When
composite bonding material is placed in a tooth, it is soft so it can be easily
sculpted to the desired shape. Light cure composite is hardened, or cured,
using a light source which could be halogen, LED, or even laser. If a curing
light isn’t used, the composite stays soft.
