I would recommend calling your plastic surgeon for clarification. We place our breast lift patients in a compression bra after surgery, and ask them to wear it for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, they may wear a different sports bra or non-underwire bra for the remaining 4 weeks. T

Since each surgeon may be a bit different. you need to ask yours what his post-op care routine is.  I usually let patients shower after I remove the drains.
