In my practice, the difference in price is dependent on whether the implants are saline or silicone and not on the size.Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author
Hi. The size of the breast implant does not affect the price. The type of implant does, however. Saline implants are less expensive than silicone. And different types of silicone cost different amounts. Your surgeon should be able to give you an exact quote for the cost of your procedure at the time of your consultation. I would recommend consult with a board certified plastic surgeon with good experience in breast augmentation. Good luck and take care,Dr. Howell
Price is based upon type (saline, silicone, gummy bear), not size, of implant.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Silicone implants are nearly twice as expensive as saline implants (sometimes moreso depending upon the type of silicone selected). This is irrespective of size. Size does not play a role in cost.As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).
Implant size is not a factor in the price of your augmentation. The type of implant is. Saline implants vs silicone implants vs ideal vs teardrop. If additional work is required to correct any significant asymmetry or you also need a breast lift, they will add to the overall cost of your implants.Check out our SC and IG stories (realDrsix username for both) to watch and learn about breast augmentations and implants. On YouTube (realDrsix) you can find videos that show you Silicone vs Saline Implants.Good luck!
Hello; The size of a breast implant does not affect the pricing however the type of implant whether saline or silicone will.Your plastic surgeon should recommend the ideal implant type , shape and size for your body after a comprehensive evaluation.Thank you
The size does not determine the cost of breast implants but the type of implant does. For example a form-stable ("gummy bear") implant costs more than smooth round, but there are specific circumstances such as tubular breast that make it the best choice. Allergan has decided to price their silicone implant based on the cohesivity of the gel; traditional gel the least expensive, then Soft Touch, then cohesive round.
A great question, but believe it or not, implant pricing is not based on size. Difference in pricing is in the material of the implant (saline vs. silicone) and not size.
Implant size does not does not affect the cost of breast augmentation surgery. The type of implant and whether any additional procedure is required to help you achieve what you are looking for will affect the cost.
Pricing depends upon the type of implants and not the volume. Best of luck.............................
It is not unusual to look somewhat smaller in the first week or two after surgery. Generally, it will take 2 to 3 months for your tissues to relax and accommodate to the implants. This allows more projection and a more natural upper breast shape.
Hi! Thank you for your question. Being that you are 2 years post-op, your implants are most likely in their final position. An in-person evaluation is need to discuss the following questions: 1. Are they hard? 2. Do you have pain? 3. What did your breasts look like pre-operatively? Did your Ph...
Tattooing over a scar will not be a problem for any future surgery using the same incision. You can go ahead and get a tattoo done with no problem.
I appreciate your concern. Your breast and connective tissue is not used to the weight of these very large breast implants. I suggest a more supportive bra to handle the weight and pressure can reduce your symptoms. Have an exam by your surgeon for a complete assessment.Good luck. Dr. Aldo
