Are Sientra implants available in Canada? More specifically, Toronto?

Sientra breast implants are still not approved by Health Canada.  Surgeons can access them by special application or under study conditions, but Allergan and Mentor have great implants and have matched warranty from Sientra.  Any busy surgeon in Toronto will have done 100's of augmentations with either Allergan or Mentor products, and you are taking an unnecessary chance if you decide to be a surgeon's 'guinea pig' with new implants. 

Hi Chloe,Yes, you can for sure get Sientra in Toronto.  I know two very, very good surgeons there who have access to Sientra.  Sientra only sells to BC plastic surgeons (by ABPS - The
American Board of Plastic Surgery) who are members of ASAPS (The
American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) and or a member of ASPS (The
American Society of Plastic Surgeons).Recently
approved by the FDA, Sientra (Silimed Corporation) silicone shaped implants are
now available for use in the United
States. These implants have been used
extensively in Europe and South America for 33
years of safety, quality and patient satisfaction. They have round implants
(with or without texture), and also shaped implants which can provide a nice
"tear-drop" shape for women who want a very natural and
"athletic" look.Also Sientra is the only implant company who has a warrantee (C3
Program) if you develop a capsule after receiving their textured implants for primary augmentation. They
have a special process which makes the texture. This implant shell

immediate area or better yet you can go to their "Find a Doctor
Website" to find a surgeon within 15 miles of your house by going
