I will be going for liposuction round 2. GENERALLY speaking, how satisfied are patients with their second time/ revision? Also, what can I expect for recovery (will it be worse/ better than the first time)?

Answer: Liposuction candidate Dear Plucky6872, to get the best results, it is very important to choose your plastic surgeon carefully. Finding the right Dr. is extremely challenging especially with the number of online platforms and resources available. There a lot of great Dr's available. Definitely check to make sure your choice specializes in the procedure you want and spend the time to read through patient testimonials. You can always pick up the phone and call around also, find an office you feel comfortable with and set up a few consultations. Answer: Revision Liposuction Thank you for the interesting question. This will depend on the reason why you are getting a second round of liposuction. For some patients they just need some extra adipose tissue removed. This will be very successful with a second round. For other patients they are looking for a revision due to issues that arose from the first procedure. And example of this would be contour irregularities. Sometimes this can be more difficult to correct. The recovery and aftercare are essentially the same for the second round. This will also be affected by which regions you have suctioned.
