I'm a 50yr old male, started minoxidil in Nov as a purely preventative measure. My hair density before starting was approximately 85-90% versus when I was 25yrs old. Since starting I have lost more density than anytime in my life and only where I've applied it. I think it has pushed out my thicker hairs and replaced some with white straw like hairs, but overall I'm down 25-30% density. I want to stop, but will my follicles recover and come back as before or are they likely addicted now?
