I am 21 and I have androgenetic alopecia. Been on Finasteride for 1 year with tremendous regrowth and fortunately I have zero side effects. But my doctor wants me to discontinue it and restart it after 6 months. I am worried about stopping finasteride. I can continue it as for 10 years also right(provided I don't get side effects)? Been on Minoxidil 5% for last one year. How to convince my doctor to prescribe me Finasteride? I have great results.
