I had a mullerectomy just over 4 weeks ago (pic at 4wk), to address a very mild case of proptosis. My occuloplastic surgeon does not believe the healing is going as expected. The swelling is gone but the eyelid is now droopy and has not risen for 2 weeks. He thinks the levator tendon has moved back from the tarsal plate, and would like to go in at the 6-7wk mark to use 1-2 stitches to bring it closer. Does this sound right? What's my risk of ending up worse off?
