Is Microdermasmbrasion safe for the nose area with a nasal silicone implant?

Is the procedure safe for the nose area, I had nasal silicone implant. Does it need to be avoided altogether, or perhaps just the bridge area? A doctor suggested I should avoid the area giving theory that the implant might protrude in the future. My surgery was done over 2 years ago.
