I have very wide cheekbones, they are the widest part of my face and i feel like since i have smaller features, my cheekbones swallow up my face especially when i smile. I did modeling in the past and my face would come out super wide and unphotogenic. I am willing to travel for this surgery. Does it make a dramatic difference? Thanks

Yes it could potentially be a result of the cheekbone reduction. Some soft tissue procedures might be needed to address it---i would wait a full year first.
Often lateral projection reduction is a mistake, but when indicated, anterior projection can be valuable. I do both frequently (When indicated) and find that osteotomy is usually not necessary as the bone can be reduced.

Hello, hope you are well. The gold standard method of correcting bony asymmetry like this is with custom fabricated implants. A CT scan is performed, and implant(s) are designed and created to correct the skeletal asymmetry.
