I’m 30 years old, 5’2, 101lbs I’m stuck between deciding what size implants. It’s not so much the volume I’m concerned, but rather the width if it might be too big for my frame which might be risky for future. One breast is 10cm and the other 11cm Implants are high profile silicone 345cc is 11.75cm 365cc is 12cm What should I do? Is 365 pushing the limit?
Answer: Consider extra-high profile An implant base width of 2 cm greater than your chest width is probably pushing it a little to avoid visibility of the implant edge, rippling, and to obtain the ideal aesthetic outcome. If you'd like to maximize volume with a reasonable BW, go for a higher profile.

Answer: Choosing breast implants to match your frame Thank you for your question. You will likely get a wide range of responses from different surgeons, as there is no universally-accepted breast implant sizing system. I prefer to insert implants that have a slightly smaller diameter than the person's breast width, to ensure there is proper tissue coverage of the implants, and decrease the risk of seeing or feeling the implants under the skin. However, this general principle is not always followed, For example, if there is an unusually large gap in between the breasts, wider implants might be an option to help narrow the gap, while acknowledging there won't be much tissue coverage in this region. Even though you provided your breast dimensions as measured by your surgeon it is not possible to offer proper advice without an in-person consult. The breasts don't have well-defined borders so even these measurements will vary from surgeon to surgeon. The surgeon(s) who you have seen for a consultation will be the best source of advice when choosing your implants.

Answer: Which implant size Choosing an implant size is a very complicated process and I think having patients select them after some measurements would be like building a house after measuring the lot size. I would sit down with your plastic surgeon and discuss all of your options in terms of implant style and volume and width etc. I know patients want to pick their own implant, but in my experience over the years it is really difficult to for a patient to do that and it is much better to lean on your plastic surgeon's experience to help.

Answer: Implants At 5'2" and 110 pounds, I would suggest choosing the smaller implant. It will also fit your base better.

Answer: Implant size Dear amandaaa123, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
