Question

Will implants only help fill out upper breast , when in standing position they dont bother me much but when laying down the top is like a flat tire and skin ripples. I dont want scars or the price of two procedures.

Implant volume is most notable in the upper pole where volume loss is most prominent.

Augmentation plane does play a role. Aesthetically, implants placed superficial to the pectoralis major create a rounded, convex appearing breast profile. By contrast the pectoralis muscle both conceals the underlying implant and flattens the upper pole. This flattening effect creates a natural sloping as one proceeds from the upper portion of the implant to the lower portion.

Based upon your photos, you appear to be a reasonable candidate for augmentation.

Dear amber232,
determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.

You have excess skin, your breasts are low on the chest wall and your nipples are pointing outward. I recommend a breast lift using The Bellesoma Method. Implants are placed behind your breasts and will enlarge the whole breast. Placing the implants behind the muscle will give more upper breast fullness which is nice.
