I had some sips of green tea by accident, 4 days before surgery. Will I be okay?

Great question!  You should be fine to proceed with the rhinoplasty as scheduled.  But let your surgeon know so he/she is aware.Best of luck and hope this information helps!

Herbal teas & supplements can increase you chances of bleeding. Rhinoplasty can be associated with bleeding normally so, I would absolutely mention this to your surgeon. “Some” small sips of green tea may not make a different.

A small amount of green tea should not interfere with surgery or anesthesia. I don't think you should lose sleep over this. Hello.  You should be fine, but it's still a good idea to let your surgeon know.  I expect him or her to reassure you and your surgery should go fine.  Take care.

Preop instructions/protocols are given to help ensure your safety as well as optimize your operation and ultimately your results. 
While having a few sips of tea 4 days before is not likely to have much much impact on your rhinoplasty, if this went against the Preop instructions, I would encourage you to communicate this to your surgeon. 

Sips of green tea will not affect your healing after a rhinoplasty. If you're still concerned, call your plastic surgeon. Best wishes.
