What kind of a mask (PPE) should I wear right after a Rhinoplasty to protect myself from Covid?

Question

I am planning to get a rhinoplasty & am wondering what kind of mask or other PPE to wear after the surgery, specifically something that would not put pressure on my nose bridge & cheeks but still be protective? I will also be travelling soon afterwards and would like to be fully protected during the flight. Also, if I was to get Covid after the surgery, could it affect the rhinoplasty results? Rhinoplasty reasons: breathing & cosmetic issues. Please advise!! Thank you in advance

Rhinoplasty has been very robust during the Covid lockdown.  I tell my patients that they should probably just take it easy for the first two weeks and the only time they should need a mask is when they see me!  Absolutely, no N-95 masks for about 5 weeks and any other mask is sufficient but not nearly as protective.  No harm will come to you if you get Covid post operatively,

every plastic surgeon has his own postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.
