Internal scarring? Post rhinoplasty

I have to start by saying you look great!
At two months in to your recovery you can expect that the body
is still healing and there will still be swelling present. A final result
following a rhinoplasty surgery can generally be expected after a full year of
recovery, so your swelling and the bulbous feeling you’re experiencing is expected
to decrease with time.
There are many scar therapy gels available to help break
down scar tissue and even out the pigmentation following surgery, but this will
be quite difficult inside the nose. Follow up with your plastic surgeon for
suggestions on how to you can address your scarring. Every surgeon has their own
guidelines for post op care.
I trust that with time, the swelling and scar tissue will
resolve.

Especially with thicker skin types. We do not inject steroids in the tip for expected swelling that gradually dissipates. Your result looks terrific! Digital photos rarely tell the whole story, so if you’re concerned, schedule a follow up visit with your surgeon. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph 

Unfortunately, the nasal tip takes quite a while to heal. At this point in time, it is normal to still have swelling of the tip with the nasal tip feeling fairly hard.  With time, you will noticed that the nasal tip will soften as swelling resolves. It takes a full year for a rhinoplasty to completely heal.  You look great, but if there are any concerns you should follow up with your surgeon.

hi jocean11, It generally takes 6-12 months to see the final result of  a rhinopolasty procedure and during that time, you may still see reduction on your nose tip. Steroid injection can be used to reduce the thickness but it is also not advisable without proper evaluation.
