I had open rhinoplasty 2 months ago. There was silicone implant for bridge augmentation and my own cartilage at the tip. My nose is healing well, but tip is very bulbous and has hardened. Is this internal scarring that's formed? I know I'm supposed to wait, but if it's scarring, should I do something about it sooner than later? What would my options be, do you suggest implant removal, or steroid injection? Would that really help, and by how much?
