I slipped into a coma and was forced to have a hysterectomy after my hysterectomy my breast I deflated and I lost so much way there now I have saggy skin and sweat builds up there and underneath my breast I was wondering if all hip would cover any of my procedures?
Answer: Considering procedures I'm sorry to hear of the issues you have had. Surgery can be helpful to correct the concerns you have, but an examination and review of your medical history is needed to determine if you are a candidate. These procedures are considered cosmetic and are typically not covered by insurance.

It sounds like you are considering a tummy tuck and breast lift procedures due to sagging skin. Answer: OHIP coverage for breast and tummy surgery Hello, in my experience OHIP will only cover breast lift and/or implant surgery for patients who have had breast cancer. It is uncommon to get coverage for removal of abdominal skin, except in the circumstance that the excess skin hangs very low and causes significant morbidity. OHIP specifically states that rashes/intertrigo in the skin fold are not one of the criteria for coverage.

Answer: Mommy makeover Hello and thank you for your excellent question. I am sorry to hear about your past experiences. Certainly, surgery can help to remedy many of your concerns. You will first need an in-person consultation to evaluate you for this procedure. Preoperative visualization and surgical simulation with the Crisalix system may help with your decision. Any treatment plan should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation in person with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
