I just noticed that in my iPhone camera my eye is slightly droopy and it looks lower down than the other one, any solutions?

Thank you for sharing your question and posting your photograph. You are accustomed to seeing your eyelids one way in a mirror, but when it’s flipped in a photo you notice it. You have ptosis (droopy eyelid) which can easily be corrected with one of several techniques by an experienced Oculoplastic Surgeon. Good luck,

Often when we look in the mirror we raise our brows and this makes our lids look better. Photos often catch our eyes while we are resting our brow leading to a droopier appearance.  The bottom line is that you have ptosis of your lid. This is very common. If you are getting more bothered by it, I would recommend seeing an oculoplastic surgeon to determine your options. Hope this helps and best of luck.

It was unclear to me whether your two photos were meant to show the difference between mirror view vs iPhone view. In both of these photos, it appears that your degree of asymmetry is similar. In my opinion, it looks as though your left lower eyelid sits too low and you have increased scleral show. This can occur when the lower lid is too loose or when eyelid scar tissue prevents the lid from reaching a normal position. The treatment for each of these can be very different. You should have a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in eyelid surgery evaluate your eyelids and how they function.
