Will Exilis Elite effect Malar Festoons (atop cheeks) adversely?

Exilis is one of the few good treatments for malar festoons. Surgically this is a very hard area to get good results in (and I am a surgeon who does a lot of face lifts). Fillers will often only make the area worse. Laser sometimes helps by tightening the skin a bit but really only works on the surface. Exilis can go to a deeper level than laser and tighten the tissues at a lower level. There is no perfect treatment in this area but Exilis is certainly worth a try. Be sure you know which Exilis machine the doctor is using. Exilis was the first machine and then was upgraded to Exilis Elite. The newest machine which we use in my practice is Exilis Ultra which combines radiofrequency with high frequency ultrasound and we have seen to be working even better than the Elite. Good luck.
